Alumni Spotlight: Colin Pritchard
Colin Pritchard, PhD ’05, MD ’07, Res. ’10, Fel. ’11, was a second-year medical student when he discovered his lifelong passion: genomic research, or the study of the genome and how genes interact with each other and the environment. Today, Pritchard co-directs the UW Medicine Genetics and Solid Tumors Laboratory and is the head of precision diagnostics at the Brotman Baty Institute, a Seattle-based innovation hub for genomic research and precision medicine.
